All school year we pour our hearts in to our kids as we should. But now it’s ‘Summer Time’…and we need to squeeze in a little time for ourselves.
As a mother of four…1 in college, 1 headed to Jr. High and 3 year old twins, I know how hard it is to work on ourselves so I picked a couple of my favorites books to share with YOU!!!

Books to feed for your SOUL
You’re Already Amazing by Holley Gerth:
This book is will change the way you look at yourself in the mirror for years to come. I had the pleasure of reading this on the beach in Bermuda during my first solo trip as a mommy & wife.

This book is great because it helps you walk through your dreams and come up with a blueprint so that you can make them a reality.

This book is great because my Pastor Kevin Myers gives some great tips for life & leadership using baseball as the analogy. Note: This would be a great book to read with your spouse and teenage children.
Books to help you as a WIFE
The Excellent Wife:
This was a tricky book to put on the list because it’s not for everyone. It will definitely rattle you at your core when you think about your role as a wife. I can’t say that I agree 100% Mrs. Peace however I know this book has made me a better wife…even if I’m not an Excellent Wife – yet!
The 5 Love Languages
This book is a must read for all married couples. We often speak and act in our “language” rather than speaking to our spouse in their “language” which often leads to disagreements and disappointments.
Women First, Mothers Second Suzy Stauffer:
This book will help you remember forgotten dreams, find new inspiration, & set an example for our children by living a fulfilled and happy life.
A Book to feed your inner TECHIE-NERD
