Today is May 20 and on June 20, twin pink and twin purple will be four years old. I’m getting giddy just typing that! Waiting on our Magic Bands for it to all seem real!
We took our son to Disney for his fourth birthday so it just seems right that we would do it again.Times two!
They’re going to lose their minds when we pull up to the resort and realize what’s going on. They have no idea right now — three-year-olds don’t read my blog, I hope — so their shock and awe will be priceless. And the now 11-year-old boy does not know either! Disney can satisfy everyone’s needs and I’m excited to be in Florida for a week with my kids, my husband, my father-in-law, my husband’s grandfather and even my mom.
It’s easy to equate Disney and kiddy fun, but I have to admit, the food is pretty darn incredible as well. We always get the Deluxe Dining Plan which allows for three meals a day plus two snacks. It’s not cheap, but it saves the hassle of carrying food or even worse, having to look at the bill for each meal. I’m in the process of making reservations for character meals — the girls are gonna love this — and here is what I have so far:
Chef Mickey & Crystal Palace. And now that we’re 30 days away, I need to get to booking more places to eat. What’s your favorite place to eat?
What I am slightly disappointed about is that we are not booked for Cinderella’s Royal Table. That’s a big part of the “girly” experience for Disney goers and I’m gonna keep checking to see if anything changes. Maybe the powers that be at Disney can help me??!!
If you can, here’s where are hoping to eat as well:
Disney Jr. Play n Dine
Tusker House Donald’s Dining Safari
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Princess Storybook Dining
1900 Park Fare Happily Ever After Dinner
50s Prime Time Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland
My son will love Epcot, Twin Purple will adore the Animal Kingdom, Twin Pink is going to lose it when she sees the new Frozen exhibit that just so happens to open on their birthday and we will all bask in the tradition and awe of the Magic Kingdom. So much to do, so much to see. As I share some pics of previous Disney trips and images of what I’m excited for, getting ready to get bombarded with post-Disney pics in 30 plus days!
