DIY Stuffed Pizza Bites that even toddlers can make

DIY Stuffed Pizza Bites that even toddlers can make

As a mom of 4, including 3-year-old twin girls, I’m always trying to think of ways to get them in the kitchen with me. I’ve found over the years that children who cook are more inclined to try new foods. So this week, I created a DIY recipe for Stuffed Pizza Bites.

And best of all, this recipe isn’t messy. So your kitchen nor your kids will look mine from the make-at-home pizza blog post.
(1) Can of Jumbo Buttermilk Biscuits
(1) 8oz container of fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegne)
(1) cup of ricotta cheese
(1) tsp of basil
(1) tsp of Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb
Salt & Pepper to taste
Take each biscuit and cut it into quarters.
immaculate biscuitsUsing one piece of the cut biscuit dough – press it out as flat as possible.
Wrap the dough around a dollop of ricotta & mozzarella.
Tuck all the dough under and place it seam-side down on a greased pan.
Bake for approx 20 minutes at 375
Serve with Nello’s Marinara Sauce
Think about letting the teenagers in your house make these. It’s very empowering to kids when they can contribute to the family. Also, over the holidays or days that you just have a lot of kids in your house, think about letting them get in the kitchen alone.
Let's keep life yummy together!

Oh I totally agree with you that children that cook are more inclined to try new things. I have involved my littles in the cooking process from the get-go, and they eat everything – yesterday we had kimchi pancake, and they gobbled it up 🙂 These bites sound great, such a good way to get the kids involved!
